Alf Nets Prize

Alf Cantrell of Five Daughter Leads has won twelve months free exposure on the Internet courtesy of Laurel Enterprises.

Launched in the Spring 96 issue of AustralAsian Equitarder, the competition was open to businesses placing advertising in any of the Laurel Enterprises publications before December 1, 1996.

Alf Cantrell was delighted at the news he had won exposure to the world via Equine Oz.

"I'm totally amazed how easy it is to put advertising and photographs on the Internet," Alf told Equine Oz, "and I'm looking forward to the reaction over the next twelve months."

Five Daughter Leads now have their own page within Equine Oz, sporting information and colour photographs of their range of horse and dog leads. Interested customers can email questions or orders to Equine Oz, which is then redirected to Alf and Sharon Cantrell in their NSW home town of Yeovil. Although Alf admits to being a novice when it comes to the Internet, he is quick to realise the advantages of the Information Super Highway. "It is certainly a cheaper way of marketing overseas when compared to the cost of exhibiting at international trade shows," Alf enthused.
